Yogi question - What do cramps mean?

When I am doing certain poses I get killer cramps. For example: when I'm doing warrior but then my back knee comes down to the mat and I pick up my back foot to bring toward my hamstring. I get a huge cramp in my hamstring when I attempt to bring up my foot. Is my sodium level too low or is this a different problem? Am I just not used to the poses yet? I do have tight hamstrings which I stretch daily, though they don't seem to be getting any looser or more flexible.

It might be because they're tight. Try stretching them hourly for 30 seconds. Here's a good hamstring stretch. Use a reminder app if you forget to do it hourly.
Make sure you're having enough water & veggies too.

I think you're right. I will start to stretch mindfully during the day. Thank you for your tip, Cherimoose!0
