Too much protein?

Based on my taste preferences and I’m trying to keep within my calorie goals, I tend to eat at 40% protein, 30% fat, 30% carbs.

So I generally eat 140+ grams of protein daily (and weigh 144).

Is there any downside to this amount of protein?

    Do you enjoy eating that macro breakdown? Is it satiating? Have you had a check up lately with your MD?

    Unless you have a medical condition which requires a low protein intake, you're fine eating that much protein.

    Agreed. Quite a few people (mostly people strength training in a very focused way) target 1g protein per pound (yes, pound, not kg) of body weight.
