Advice & Help?!

For 5 days I have overate and binge on cookies, chips, and all sorts of other bad food. Today the scale says I am up 8.5 pounds from 124 to 132.5 Is this all fat gain? Or is some water weight? How long will it take to get to how I was before these 5 days of horrible eating.

    depends how much over maintenance you ate?

    Hey girl! Don't worry, everyone has slip-ups or occasions where they might end up eating things that don't fit into their diet! Do you know how much of the bad food you ate? Did you log it all?

    Keep in mind that a pound of fat equals approximately 3,500 calories, so you would have had to have eaten a pretty monumental amount in the last 5 days for 8.5lb to be all fat. I would say a large portion of the weight gain would be attributed to water retention from the simple carbs you've eaten, so you shouldn't worry too much, just get back on eating healthier and more nutrient dense foods :)

    Sweets and dough can plug up anyone of us pretty good. I’d say have a couple fiber rich meals and you’ll see at least 4lb gone within a 2 days ;-)
