MyFitnessPal App Question

I must be doing something wrong. Frequently, after logging a workoutout, I find that the app has entered it (or something generic and very similar) twice. Therefore, it looks like I’ve burned a billion calories. Has anyone else experienced this? Solution?

Do you have a fitness device synced?
If not: Yes, I've had that happen, but only a few rare times. I just delete the extra one. (I think sometimes it happens because I impatiently hit the add a couple of times before it disappears, which isn't possible on all of the app platforms, but is on some.)
Deleting the extra exercise line leaves the timeline message ("So-and-so burned X calories doing Y activity") incorrect, but gets my daily diary/totals back where they should be. If I care about the timeline thingie (rarely! ), I'll just comment on it with a correction.
You could report it to MFP support, but I've never bothered, since it didn't affect my tracking. YMMV.1
