Anyone else with an ED past feeling triggered?

I’m finding myself frustrated as I’m becoming increasingly neurotic about tracking everything I am eating and given that I have a history of eating disorders I really have to be careful with this and make sure it stays on the healthy track.
The reason I’m tracking is bc I want to be making lean gains right now and it’s such a fine tuned science... I’m crossfitting and training hard and feel confused about how much I really should be eating to fuel it all...
I think there’s a way to create and save a specific meal so you can just add that instead of adding each individual item... is that correct? That would definitely save time so I’m not on here analyzing and obsessing over data 🙄
I honestly think it comes down to the individual. This kind of tracking works awesome for a lot of people. I’m a personal trainer and certified nutrition coach and may be better off listening to my body if this continues to make me feel anxious and triggered... we’ll see. Can anyone else relate? Thanks in advance. I feel alone right now and I’m really struggling 😞

I haven't dealt with an ED, but I have seen others post about this in the past, so you definitely shouldn't feel alone!
Do you have a treatment team to reach out to?
I'm not sure it's really necessary to fine tune and analyze your diet to the point that you're spending a lot of time on your food log in order to achieve your goals, but you may need to adjust those goals if they are leading you back down a dangerous path. Hopefully others with first hand experience will come by shortly. :flowerforyou:2 -
On the food age there is a heading label "My Meals". You will have to enter each item in your log the first time but then click on "quick Tools" and it will let you create a meal with those entries.0

Absolutely understand and have a similar experience with just getting back onto MFP to track. Your speculation of keeping an eye on behaviors and anxiety is really all we can do in post-recovery health matinence, which is so scary. It feels like a blind step that could be an elevator to a better existence or deep into doom- but in reality we have control of our actions regardless of scared and disordered thoughts. It's been five years since I recovered and getting into a solid healthy regimen is terrifying! Congrats on being a personal trainer and whatnot in post-recovery, you know what needs to be done to stay healthy just keep taking care of yourself 💙1
