Logging in the food diary

I got lazy and stopped logging in the food diary for a week and saw a gain of a least three lbs. I thought I had this under control but found out the value of logging what I’m actually eating. Has this happened to others?

Yep, went on holiday and gained 5lb, then over Christmas gained another 7lb. If I'm concentrating on what I eat I find I'm very good at moderating but if I'm not logging then I'm hopeless. I've been doing this nearly 2 years now and can't trust myself, I'm here for the long haul!0

I had lost weight several times in the past. Using the logging tools here has helped me maintain a 45 pound loss for over a year. I was never able to maintain the losses in the past. For me, logging is part of the maintenance process. It can be tedious at times, but it's worth it to me.
