Insanity Cal. Calculation vs TDEE. need calorie advice!

So Im about to start insanity, I've been using TDEE -20% but have plateaud for 3.5 months!
granted, I was usually going over by 100-200 cals a day which still gave me results prior to the platueau.

well I was reading the insanity nutrition giude, and according to that calculation, I can eat 2200+ cals to lose weight?? serious??? with TDEE I was at about 1740, which insanity calculates as just my maintenance weight with NO exercise.

so i guess what Im asking is, insanity users, do you follow the calculations?

briefly, here's my breakdown:

34yrs old
145lbs
5'4"

exercise 4-6 days a week (each workout 250-400 cals burned)
walk about 45 min oer day at a fast pace (5km average)
will ad a 5km run back in weekly once my knee heals

heres the insanity calculation...

any help with my caloric intake to BREAK THIS DAMN plateau is appreciated!!!

My Diary is open. I log everything. and I have been to alot of weddings/its summer...Im living life and there will be some not great choices in there. haha.

I do TDEE -20% with Insanity. If I'm hungry after a workout and after I've eaten all my target calories, I'll eat 100-200 more. No big deal. I've been seeing results.

I guess the biggest thing about "plateauing" is that you can get lax about logging or measuring, and it can definitely have an effect on your loss. You could be underestimating portion sizes and not know it if you stop measuring and weighing.

Oh, totally. I had an eye-opener the first time I weighed out my "3/4 cup" of cereal.
