Pre-workout?

Good morning. Just wondering what you ladies take if anything for energy before your workout? I workout at 5am so I need the extra energy but not jitters. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I used to just drink black coffee, but have cut back my caffeine use so I just eat a banana or overnight oats before heading to the gym. I've used preworkouts before and they are basically expensive caffeine.0

I don't workout first thing in the morning, but before my lifting sessions I like having an espresso and candy.
If coffee doesn't do it for you you can experiment with energy drinks or actual pre-workouts. I am not sure which don't give jitters since I've never tried them before.1 -
Nothing. Up at 3:30, in the gym by 4:15. Coffee afterward, as my reward.1

Nothing before my morning cardio, it wakes me up just doing it. Before lifting, maybe 1/2 a Bang energy can or I get the Walmart energy drink mix powder with water. Both are pretty tasty. Crystal light energy is very similar to the Walmart (Equate) version, but Equate comes in more flavors.0
