Vegan recipes
Hey! I’m new to the community, I think It’s been a week now. I’m loving the community & how supportive everyone is! I’m a vegan, and I was hoping I could have some vegan friends on here
but please feel free to add me! I love being there for other people and vice versa especially when it comes to my health. The main reason I made this was to see if anyone was vegan and if so if you had any vegan low cal low sugar recipes!? I look some up on Pinterest and other apps but I’ve been seeing the same recipes over and over. I would love to have one vegan low cal low sugar dessert recipe for special occasions. Cutting sugar out & keeping a low calorie intake is super important to me. I only allow myself 1,000 cals MAX a day. And 78g MAX of sugar a day. It’s hard but very worth it!
Please feel free to add me as a friend I need friends on here, it helps with motivation
I hope everyone is having an amazing journey !!

Most of my vegan recipes are salads or stir fry. I'm really into "marinated" or pickled vegetable salad right now. I chop onion, pepper, celery, and add some frozen mixed vegetables (the corn/pea/carrot etc mix) and cover them with vinegar a little sugar or sweet n low and some seasoned salt or herbs and salt. Leave in the fridge and top chopped salad greens. Or stir fry any combination you like. Different oils for different varieties. I use coconut oil for Asian style and olive oil for more Italian. Bulk it up with rice, quinoa, barley, beans, or lentils. Nutritional yeast adds b vitamins and a cheesy flavor.
Keep in mind that 1000 calories max is not healthy or sustainable unless you are super tiny (or under Dr. supervision).
Oops... just noticed you wanted dessert... I like peanut butter with apple or banana, not necessarily low sugar... maybe a low sugar vegan protein powder with unsweetened soymilk shake?1 -
Thank you!
I read that woman should eat like 1,200 cals least I believe it was... but in a day it’s hard for me to consume more. If I drink my protein cold brew Koia vegan drinks (maybe 2 a day) then I sometimes go over to maybe 1,200 if even. Thank you so much for your response and it all sounds so yummy! I’m a huge quinoa and hummus lover!0
