None. Exercise boosts metabolism. Even if it’s moving more than you are now.5

It's not worth taking supplements to boost metabolism. Apart from questions of efficacy and safety, are you planning to take body-altering substances for the entire rest of your life?
There are no shortcuts. You have to prepare mentally for the long haul; the lifetime haul. Also, while eating 'better' is good, it's eating less that's key. Unfortunately6 -
What kind of supplements? Those that claim to "boost metabolism" are scams. They have caffeine, which may cause you to move around more, but that's the only active ingredient.
I say drink a cuppa coffee. $0.30 instead of $6.00 per serving.

There was one, which was super effective, but dangerous as hell. Its been banned for a while. Look at my before and after, That is one year of raining and eating properly. Step by step, be consistent and diligent, keep your head in the game and mind on the prize, and you will achieve great things. Do not buy into supplement hype, except for a good protein powder.3

Supplement water for sodas.
Supplement veggies for potato chips.
Supplement walking for TV time.
Etc, etc.6 -
Another vote for exercise and caffeine.0

Check with your doctor if you should take a multivitamin or fish oil.
DON’T just start supplements, some can cause permanent medical problems or be contaminated with various drugs.1
