Could you call your doctor and ask them?2

I had ACL surgery almost 20 years ago and had researched exhaustively the brace I was going to buy. My doc said no brace because you don't know as well where you're at in your rehab. I listened to what he said, did the hard rehab and he was right. Every doctor thinks differently. Just sharing my experience and nothing more. Work your rehab diligently and then some and you'll come out better than before the injury. At least this was my experience.

Get one that fits, if it's falling down then it's not doing you any good.
I lost a PCL and a well fitting brace was the difference between accepting (in the words of my surgeon.....) that I was disabled or getting back to a good level of fitness.1 -
I second going back to your doctor and getting one that fits. If it used not fall down but now does, then it might be an issue with the velcro depending on the brace you have.1
