I was doing great with weight-loss last year and lost 40lbs. I then gained 15 over the holidays and I was able to lose that easily after the holidays were over. I have now been recently gaining again and can't seem to find the motivation to eat as healthy as I was before and work out as much as I was!

Do you log your food? It might help you to find the balance between "eating healthy" and the treats you want so you don't have to work up the motivation to feel deprived.1

I’m new to this whole thing. But maybe you just need to remember why you started losing in the first place. And how good it felt when you were successful.2

Maybe just log to maintain your weight at first1

I am struggling with motivation lately too, and what jbrooks said is what has been helping me. I have been meditating and taking myself back to the mindset of when i was super successful in getting in shape a few years ago. it sounds dramatic and silly, but it helps me focus and center when I feel myself falling off.0
