Fast 800 diet

After gaining so much weight over 6 months of bad eating and not working out, I bought Michael Mosely's book and joined the Facebook group that compliments it.
Tomorrow, I plan to do a complete fast for 36 hours :o and then drastically restrict my calories to 800 daily eating the meals suggested in the book and group and get my exercise equipment out again and stream Fitness Blender to my TV.
Wish me luck xx

How about just seeing how many calories MFP says to eat for your height and weight and then sticking to that? It's much easier, safer, healthier, and you'll be able to keep eating that way even after you take off your weight. If a diet plan isn't sustainable for life, you won't be able to do it for life, so you'll just put the weight back on.

I'm not going to wish you luck because what you're choosing to do is unsafe and not sustainable for a long period of time anyway. It's the perfect recipe to lose weight and just regain it. Why not try a safe and sustainable way of eating along with working out and make your weight loss a permanent thing? I expect this thread to be locked within a few hours.
