Just lost 35 lbs since July and now I feel nauseated, could be a virus this week, threw up twice or the same thing happened to me when I did weight watchers and lost weight. I am eating a bit more just to try and feel good. Trying to balance all this out.

Probably a question for your doctor if it's happened before.

I think I might not have had enough fat in my diet with WW, ate points with wrong foods. I know I would throw up after dieting for a while. I am staying nauseated this time for last few days so thinking I may have a flu or virus. I hope I am just not destined to be fat.

Assuming it is not the flu or your "destiny" to carry more weight you might want to see a doctor but in the meantime try a more sensible diagnostic approach of asking yourself what changes when you enter weight loss that is different from normal.

Many people make the mistake of thinking they need to eat a certain way to lose weight and they change too much too quickly. As long as you eat the right amount of calories and maintain basic nutrition it doesn't matter if you eat a burger or if you eat grilled chicken. They also make the mistake of thinking they need to eat "healthy" so they start piling on all of the latest health craze foods and "super" foods. Just because something is "good" for you doesn't mean your body will like it. This includes ramping up your fiber too quickly.

Some people make the mistake of vilifying carbs or fat. Unless you have a medical reason you don't need to cut down on either.

Are you eating a healthy amount of calories for your stats? Many people seem to be fixated on 1200 calories which may be too little.

If you are exercising are you being sensible? Exercise should be mostly viewed as a benefit to health not for weight loss. Also you should be eating back a portion of your exercise calories if you are using MFP numbers.

Are you being too strict? I am not sure how likely it is but if you are not being kind to yourself this may be your brain's way of acting out.

If I were happening to me and it wasn't the flu I would guess something was triggering my acid reflux which doesn't always present itself with the burning that people assume.

If you've been losing since July, I wouldn't necessarily jump to the conclusion as the reason you are sick 8 months later is from your diet. Much more likely your probably caught some sort of virus. But nobody can really tell you that except for your doctor, so if this continues, I recommend seeing one. But if it goes away and you don't continue to feel it then it was likely just a stomach bug.

*not a doctor, this is not medical advice.

Just wanted you to know YOU WERE RIGHT! Thank You. It was just a stomach bug, took time, I feel great now!
