strenght training

Good morning,

When you enter in the cardio excercise I noticed that you are allotted extra calories or so I think. Does this rule not apply to strenght training? I entered those excercises in and nothing changed. I generally don't have time to do both at the gym so I've always stuck with the strenght exercises being advised that those were the better exercises to do. Thank you for helping to clarify this.

    Yes that's correct it's not set up to add if it's Strength Training. There is however a strength training option in the Cardio section.

    Yes, the Strength Training section in https://www.myfitnesspal.com/exercise/diary/ is just for notes.

    However, there are various entries for strength training in the cardio section database, so enter it there.

    There is a strength training exercise in the cardio section. Use that for exercise calories from general weight lifting.
