Starting Again....

For the last time. My name is Dawn, I'm 37, and reside in VT with my 6 year old, a dog, two cats, a betta fish, and a California king snake.
I'll try to make this short and sweet. I started this journey 6 years ago and ended up doing really well. I went from 375ish to 197 after my son was born. Shortly after this, my mother got sick and I ended up moving back in with her to take care of her. This is when things went south. I quickly went from 197 to 250. Then, when she passed away, I went from 250 back up to my current weight, 311.5.
I've made several attempt to try to lose weight, but with no game plan. This time, I went shopping and meal planned last night. I also joined overeaters anonymous so I can find like minded people like myself (I'm a emotional binge eater). I plan on using mfp so I can keep track on my calories and keep myself on track.
Honestly, laying there last night, I realized how much I hate being fat. I can't play with my son the way I should be able to, I'm constantly tired, and I have developed health anxiety because of all this weight gain, which gets worse the more weight I gain, as I know I'm taking years off my life with every pound I put on. My mom died early because she couldn't stop eating. Doing research, I found being my weight can take 18 years off my life. I want to be around to watch my son grow up and play with my grandchildren. At this rate, I won't be around for it.
Guess that wasn't as short as I thought. Anyways, feel free to add me; I always felt the more support the better. I will be here for awhile since I have about 120 pounds to lose. Sounds overwheming but I sectioned it off in 10% increments; this way it doesn't seem so overwhelming.
Anyways, good luck to all of you on your weight loss journey. I know it won't be easy but, in the end, it'll be well worth it.
