You are suddenly teleported 10 ft (3 m) to the left. How does that change your present situation?

Probably in the powder room at a Roaring 20's cabaret. (I'm sitting by the wall at an Indian deli next door waiting for fresh bread.)

Laying on the ground next to the pool.... just teleported outside the second story of my bedroom

I'm sitting on the floor, blocking the front door.
  • I'd survive, but once I realized that teleportation was possible... it's a whole new ballgame!

I'd be clinging to my kitchen window sill. Luckily we're only on the 3rd floor (US) so it's survivable...

I would be outside sitting in a half frozen pool. Sounds fun!

After falling on my butt because there's no longer a chair there, I'd try to teleport again. If it's repeatable, I'd develop this new talent to the point of being able to teleport to Hawaii on the weekends.
I'd probably have to leave the kids home with the husband though because bringing someone else along for teleportation could be dangerous.

Same (I mean that literally, not figuratively).

I would literally just be at another desk in this soul sucking hell hole.

I’d be in the linen closet, and it’s full enough already, so I’d probably fall out.

I'd end up on my big comfy couch. I'm totally ok with this

I'd be outside tangled in my neighbours washing line (which currently has bed sheets on) but thankfully I'm already on the ground floor so no falling unless you count losing my chair!

I'd be in my co-worker's cube. She would probably be confused...

    Me, too.

I'm in a parking lot, so I would probably be arrested for trying to steal somone else's car. I don't even WANT a Kia Soul!

That would put me right on top of my back yard leach bed where the grass is always greener.

    3 feet?

    that's easy.

I would be slipping thru a time/space continuum portal and projecting myself against an infinite number of particle arrangements and cosmic patches resulting in an implosion of my constant state of being.

.... either that, or I would just be three feet closer to my office door.

I hope that you transferred between dimensions, provided the continuum was "ripped" which created a hole between each place.

..... that usually occurs on Thursdays.

skipping thru the multiverse has it's challenges, sometimes it's simply impossible to find a good taco.

I would be sitting in my ex-bosses lap. :flushed:

So I have to ask why your ex-boss is 10 feet away from you?

@cee134 we work in a cube environment and share a wall!

I would be going from laying on my bed to falling 2' or so to the bathroom floor and probably crack my head on the wall or tub. I don't know how injured I would get but it would not be an improvement. My cat would be mad because she was cuddled up with me on the bed.

I would be in a corner smushed between a wall and a filing cabinet. Whatever. Someone hand me my phone and my computer, please?

I wish it could happen. Then I’d be in the recliner. Somebody bring me pizza.
