I would guess around 160 per roll, but depends on the actual size. So for six a calorie laden meal.

It depends on the size. But if you are taking about a typical small sized six piece sushi roll, it would be around 150 calories for the entire 6 piece roll, not per piece.

For the basic smaller ones like tuna rolls, or philedalphia rolls, california rolls, they typically run around 40-60 calories per piece. If I've eaten a variety, I usually just round to 50 each for ease of counting. The calorie count goes up as soon as anything fried, or creamy is added. For the takeaway ones at the grocery store, they usually have the calories per container posted. And they seem to range between 350-750(ish) per box. It's probably a good idea to weigh them just to be sure their count is right.

Can you post a picture so we can see how big they are?

Publix has a really nice vegetable “sushi” roll that is very low calorie. Gave the sensation of sushi without the calories. And we had it with steamed shrimp for a great low cal dinner still with seafood.

A typical sushi roll that I make at home is 213 calories. Using one sheet of sushihane (seaweed), about 3/4 cup rice, 1 packet of tuna, 2 teaspoons of Miracle Whip (less calories than mayo), 1 tablespoon of mustard, 2 1/2 cherry tomatoes sliced, 1/16 of an avocado, 1 oz of fresh cilantro and topped with 1/4 cup sodium free Rice wine vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon of wasabi.

I don't know if that helps or not. If you know exactly what is in it, you can tally it all up and save it as a meal for future entries.

Are those ingredients making multiple rolls? If not, the calories seem really, really low.

Yes., it's that top picture. 150 calories sobs sounds great. I get it without the yummy sauce on top. Thanks so much for the answer! 😄

Nope, only making one roll. I tallied each ingredient on it's own.

    Rice - 103
    Tomatoes -2
    Cilantro - 1
    Tuna pouch - 70
Miracle Whip - 13 (Whoops! I meant to write 1 tsp, not 2 last time)
    Wasabi - 1
    avocado - 23
Rice Wine Vinegar, mustard and seaweed is all zero for calories but loaded with sodium.

Now that you clarified the teaspoon of Miracle Whip, that makes more sense. Thanks!
