The other day at the gym I decided to weigh myself on the scale in the locker room fully clothed and with my sneakers on.. it said I weighed 4 pounds less than when I weighed myself first thing in the morning (with minimal clothes) on my scale at home! I figured it was just the scale at my gym was a bit off because so many people use it... welll today I went to the doctor and my weight was considerably less on their scale than it was this morning at home! I’m starting to think I need a new scale 😂 any recommendations for a good reliable scale that won’t break the bank?

Usually people weigh more later in the day, so this is bit different dilemma than is usually posted. Be sure to calibrate your scale (step on it lightly to reset to 0) before each weigh in. As long as your scale is consistent, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Just (literally) an awesome new Bluetooth scale. Free shipping from Target. A breeze to set up and full integration with MFP. And it looks very sleek!

I had a similar issue. I would weight myself and then weigh myself and be a few 100g dif. The other day it was 1.5kg dif and I’d only recently changed battery. I got something very similar to nowineforme and am impressed so far.

Just a number at the end of the day, it's far more important how you feel.

Obviously I care more about how I feel than the digital number on device operated by batteries. However, that doesn’t mean that I want to stop tracking my weight for progress. I recall asking for recommendations for a new scale, not life advice. Thanks anyways
