I’m 3 weeks in to MFP and love it so far. I’m a lifelong dieter, have recently decided it’s diet no more for me, and have been focusing on good clean eating, bumping up the exercise and drinking a gallon of water a day. Tracking with MFP has really made this fun and motivating and I’m ready to kick it up another notch with this challenge!
I will be 62 years old this year, but mentally? Much younger and way more immature! I currently weigh 238 lbs, and intend to lose 88 lbs to reach my goal of 150. Short term, just looking to get out out these damn TWOS! Looking forward to this challenge and some new friendships with like minded folk!

If you are looking for friends on the way, there's an excellent group in the MFP community that might be fun and motivating! It's the Fat2Fit Weight Loss Challenge Group, and it's a great way to have wonderful support and a structure for staying accountable. We have weekly weigh-ins (tallied to see which team did the best each week; teams are about 25 people each), daily check-ins with your team (how are you doing on your plan for food, water, exercise), and lots of wonderful, fun and supportive conversation.
