What Apps? - MFP, WW, FitBit

Hi all!! It has been quite some time since I have regularly been on MFP. I used it religiously for a good 2 years, but then have been off & on. I started using WW along with MFP a few months ago. At first it was great, down 5 lbs, but then I gained it all back +2 lbs. Now I'm 7 lbs heavier than when I started back into working out a couple years ago!! Ugh!! I decided that WW just wasn't right for me. It seemed too constricting for me since the kind of exercise that I do each week. This week I started using MFP once again & also my FitBit App. I'm just trying to figure out which ones to use, more than one, two?? Such a struggle. Here's some of my info:
Age: 38
Weight: 191.8 lbs
GW: 160.0 lbs
Activity Level: Sedimentary at work, pretty active at home
Workout Level: 4-5 days / week, 45 min classes, Bootcamp Style (cardio, core, strength days)
Calorie Burn: Avg 300-500 per exercise depending on day
Set Calories MFP: 1,500/day
I also take 3 medications as I am going thru menopause at a very young age. I will be on these meds until my "normal" age of menopause. And one of the lovely side effects of 2 of them are weight gain!! Any words of encouragement or advice would be appreciated!!!!!

I use MFP to log my foods and Fitbit to estimate my calorie burn throughout the day as well as my exercise burns.3

Same here.. 👍0 -
Id also recommend getting the Libra weight trend app and weighing yourself daily. It will help you get a better understanding of weight fluctuations and hopefully in a better relationship with the scale.2

OP - lots of people do this ^2 -
Your story sounds so similar to mine. Even our ages and weight, goal weights are identical. I have lost 60 pounds over the last three years, mainly using weight watchers and tracking work-outs with the fit bit. I just recently switched to MFP. Trying to count macro's. I've not lost a lot, but winter is hard for me regardless. Next week I am doing a 7 day detox to try to cleanse my system and maybe boost my metabolism a little. I'm also working on doing intermittent fasting. Sounds like you have a lot going on with the early menopause and medications. That could definitely be playing a role in your life. I have been listening to the Cabral Concept Podcasts and find his theories on how the body systems work together and how our environment plays a role in how our bodies function fascinating. Good Luck on your journey!!1
