What do you think it's going to give you that a good diet, regular exercise, time and commitment won't?5

I tried it for a while once, didn't see much difference, decided to stop spending on it. Examine doesn't show many effects backed by evidence and those it does are categorized as "minor"

I have taken CLA & ALA for 6 months now, with proper strength training (5 years in), proper caloric deficit, adequate protein consumption. CLA (1000mg & ALA 600mg) has helped me drop more more inches (32" waist down to 27") in my stomach than anywhere else. I will continue to take these two1

I'm not banking it on it doing the work. Just maybe a little more fat loss and health benefits. Engery.0 -
I tried it for a while. The only affect I noticed was adding 20 calories a day to my log.9

I'm guessing that the bolded part of your statement did the work for you, not the supplement. Studies have shown they have very limited affects and the supplement market is very unregulated and could have negative side effects. You don't need to eat "clean" or take supplements for weight loss. Just have a caloric deficit.6 -
Thanks.1

I always find that amusing when I see advertisements like:
Fat Burner!!! Lose those unwanted pounds* with FAT BURNER!!!
*(fine print): must be combined with a calorie controlled diet and exercise6 -
Yep. A lot people think it's all you need. Nothing works better than a good ole diet and exercise. But I do think some things can be beneficial when you add it to those. Especially natural supplements.5
