Friday Funk...?

It's rare but I woke up in a funk this morning. It affected my leg day and I'm not happy about it. C'mon MFP family, help me out of this. Anyone else in a bit of a funk this morning?

    I didn't sleep at all again. Woke up knowing it's gonna be a long day and I have to work the weekend too.

    For whatever reason decided to wear a necklace that I've arbitrarily decided is "good luck" and grabbed a fortune cookie to read the "fortune" to try to tell myself it's "gonna be a good day".

    I can dig it. But Lipps was more disco than funk. The Funkadelic's were true funk, right there with Parliament. Which they collaborated together as Parliament-Funkadelic for some great funk sounds. If you're not familiar with'em check'em out. I think you'll dig it brother.

    I used to work 7pm-7am and every other weekend. I'd always be sad on Friday night driving to work and see all the packed restaurants because I didn't think I could enjoy the weekend like M-F people did.
    Now that I'm a M-F person, sometimes I struggle with Mondays but Fridays are awesome.
