Every time I try to start eating healthy to lose some weight I always make it much more complicated then is has to be. As soon as I say diet my brain automatically thinks I need to eat
Oatmeal or smoothies
A certain amount of veggies daily
Lots of fiber
Lots of water
Etc.
But when I eat bad none of those things I think about.
How do I get past that and has any other members thought this way and overcame it. I really need to stick to eating healthy as I am almost 400 pounds with high blood pressure that is getting worse.
Thanks for any and all advice.

Second this
You don't need to "diet", proper portion is the key. People binge because they stop eating what they used to eat.2
