Trying to build lean muscle with Autoimmune Disease

Hello,
I have been on MyFitnessPal since 2017 but never added anyone on my friend list. 3 months back I was diagnosed with an Autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Started with a-lot of fat on my body and now i have around 14% body fat. My goal was always to have good amount of lean muscle with less fat but because of constant pain for last 6 months because of my chronic illness my training has faced many up’s and down’s, I have even lost some of my muscle. The good thing is in-spite of having so much pain and feeling low and demotivated I managed to keep my weight and fat percentage down.
So It will be great if you connect with me and help me through my journey. I will also share as much knowledge as I about nutrition or exercise. 💪🏻

Welcome!
I, too have Ankylosing Spondylitis. Was diagnosed decades ago. What are you on for pain management?
