Evening exercise?

Is it bad to do late evening 5mph runs on a treadmill an hour before sleep? I cannot workout in the morning because I don't have time and would have to get up at 4am to get ready, oh and I get ravenous.

    I cant see why not... Im at the gym 5am in the morning doing 40 min cardio then after work I go back to the gym to do either 40 min cardio or 1 hr of weights a couple of hours before I go to bed and I sleep well :)
    As long as your finding time to exercise I say go for it!!

    No its not. I lost 70 pounds doing my routine from 9-11PM every late evening for the past 7 months. Just make sure, if your goal is to lose weight, then have nothing more than a zero carb protein shake after exercise and if your goal is to also build muscle, then have one serving of complex carbs, e.g. oatmeal in addition to your protein shake.
