Fun fact: Stress can increase cortisol. Cortisol can increase water retention.
I don't know what you can do about that, as a potential factor with all that's going on in your life . . . except maybe be kind to yourself during what sounds like a really difficult time period.
Trust that your joy for your daughter will light you up for that wonderful graduation, and you'll glow with happiness. In any size dress. Really.
