Confused about protein for recomp

I am trying to recomp. I have heard two different things on MFP about the amount of protein that you are supposed to eat. 1) one gram of protein per pound of bodyweight 2) one gram of protein per pound of LEAN body weight. As I have estimated my body fat at 27%, this is a huge difference in how much protein I should be eating. Which is correct?

I go with 0 6-0.8g per lb of bodyweight if you're not significantly overweight.
I'd try and stay more towards 0.8 if you can0
