Weight gain/ sugar cravings on the pill

Hi ladies! I’m constantly craving sugar as I’m constantly on my period! Fun! I’m on Desogestrel, I’ve tried the implant and i think the other one is citrozene.
Any recommendations on other contraceptives or ways to battle the cravings themselves? (I can have fizzy drinks and a full stomach but I’m still craving.)

I've been on Rigevidon for years, it's never affected my weight or produced any major cravings.0

I tried that when I was 14 and it gave me migraines, I might consider it again though thank you x0

I'm on Lo Loestrin Fe 24. It's a bit different then normal pills in that the estrogen dose is super low. So you have to take it for 24 days, then 2 days just estrogen, then 2 days placebo. Since the hormones are lower, and remain steady over the month (instead of taking a week off), I find I have very little to no PMS symptoms. This includes period related food cravings, mood swings, and the like. Also, no period which is nice. No crazy weight fluctuations either. It does make me have more acne though. But I'm emotonally stable, so I'll take pimples over crying at the drop of a hat any day. (Previous BC's)0

I loved this pill and was on it for several years. It hugely alleviated so many of my PMS and period symptoms.0 -
Constantly on your period? What kind of torture device is this?0
