Balancing Lupus-Friendly with Diabetic-Friendly

Help, please! I have lupus and am diabetic with a few other lesser health issues. I am trying to find a diet (not so much a diet-diet as a way of eating) that will be friendly to both of those and my budget. Anyone out there in the same boat? How are you managing?

Probably your best bet is to ask your doctor for a referral to a dietitian. You could ask them if this has good info: https://www.healthline.com/health/lupus/diet-tips
I think a lot of diabetics here improved their condition simply by losing weight.
Perhaps the Mediterranean-style way of eating (minus the garlic per above link) would be a good WOE for you?0
