The Fast Diet

Hi Everyone, Only started this way of diet fast 2 days only a week, yesterday so far so good,but it is early days, has anyone else tried this? I have about 8 st to lose, any advice much appreciated.

    Or you can just eat a normal calorie deficit and exercise and stop falling victim to gimmicky BS

  • All these fast cleanse diets are gimmicks, follow a proper deficit diet after you find your TDEE and exercise, many people don't have the patience to do this and expect quick results but it works.

    I agree with above. Years ago, I did a fast diet to where I only eat once a day. I did lose the weight, but the moment I reached my goal weight & started maintenance eating, the weight piled back on! Lose the weight slow & steady. You could try those Slimfast or Special K meal replacement protein drinks for a meal instead of fasting & you'll see a world of difference.

    But if your doing it for religious purposes (We're Catholic & fast during Lent), then I recommend eating lots of protein, fish, & nuts once your allowed to eat.
