I used MFP years ago to lose almost 100 lbs. For the longest time I held steady around 190 lbs. and was content, but now I have pending thyroid issues and possible lupus accompanied with a 16 lbs weight gain in 16 months.
When the word "lupus" is used, it is typically associated with a person to just sit around and rest. (And it is easy to do.) Instead of being a statistic, I am actually working to push myself, within my limits, to be more active and healthier.
Why? I AM WORTH IT.
