Feeling comfortable with your body after weight loss?

I have not reached my goal yet.. but I am gaining a huge head of confidence (with clothes on). When did you start feeling comfortable with your body?

I look at previous pictures of myself and KNOW that I look wayyyy better than I did. BUT, I find it rather difficult to be comfortable with my body.

I know that we, ourselves, are our own worse critics. We see what our minds tell us to see. We automatically have an idea of what our bodies should and shouldn't look like. We feel that our lovers deserve this or that which in turn makes us feel more apprehensive about our bodies.

How do you think one should go about overcoming this issue?

Trying on clothes in (UK) size 12s (which is US 8?) and finding them too big so having to go down to 10.

I feel good dressed when clothes fit me the way I think clothes should fit... when I don't have to wear clothes that are too big simply so they aren't too tight.

I've never felt good without a shirt on.

    But more to your question...

I think it comes down to 2 things...
    1) if you aren't comfortable with your body, you aren't done working on your body. Keep dieting, keep working out.
    2) if you aren't comfortable with your body, maybe you have self image issues. This is more prevalent than some people realize, and often much harder to correct than simply changing your diet and/or workout routine.
