I want to see your butt

I thought that title would get your attention.
I have a very small butt. And I'm obese. I'm wondering if anyone else has lost 50+ pounds and transformed your butt? I would love to see before and after pictures and hear how you did it.
I want to focus on building my bytt muscles and losing this weight.

November 27th to yesterday 😁 I had to pause in a video I was taking for the screenshot of it so sorry about the play button haha! I had pancake butt from almost a year at a deficit and I’ve been heavy lifting since February...I love the shape it’s giving me! Hardly a pound lost between the two 😮

Also for what it’s worth I’ve lost about 86lbs overall!

Thanks! From 2010-2018 I didn’t do much of anything mindful with my eating...which is why it took a long time 🤣
Starting in 2018 my spouse and I began counting calories and I picked up cardio; I completed the C25K program and I actually really liked it! I dropped a good 35-40 pounds last year. But! I wasn’t getting the shape I wanted.
So 2019 has been “the year of the lift” and honestly I wish I’d done it last year over the cardio. I am in bonkers good shape in just a few short months. I still work hard, and I track my calories, but it’s not nearly as taxing to me versus the miles of running.
I don’t obsess over macros but I do watch them! I follow a 40/30/30 plan with my carbs, proteins, and fats. Low carb was NOT for me and neither was fasting. I found a really good balance and I’m sticking to it...training for America Ninja Warrior right now and having a blast!

These are a little old(both from 2016....May vs Sept). First pic is after losing over 120lbs. Second pick is a few months after starting Strong Curves.

This looks great, but this does not show butt progress. That is what OP wanted to see.
Scroll up dear, and you'll see her butt shots.22 -

Thank you for the compliment but I am actually fulfilling her request in my first response IMMEDIATELY on top of that one ❤️

Thank you for posting pictures. I have so much to lose and don't always want to be a pancake butt ( like i am now) so this definitely gives me hope3

Top picture is college about 10 years ago. Out of shape with little muscle. Maybe 160-170 lbs (I wasn't weighing myself and don't have many "before" pictures of my butt since I wasn't too proud of it before)
Bottom picture is last week. A few years of training and much more muscle. About 148 lbs.

For some reason that pickup line never works for me.12

Can I ask you all who have seen progress with lifting. Did you have to go on calorie surplus? Thanks1

This is really impressive! Well done, @shadow2soul.6 -

At this point I am still in a deficit because I still have some pounds that I want to drop 🙂 But it’s only a 250 calorie deficit so the loss is slower and my strength isn’t compromised. When I get to a weight I like I’ll start bulking/cutting for better definition!2 -

@quiksylver296 Thanks I was actually really surprised by how much improvement I saw with the program. Everyone always says squats, but for me I needed more than just squats to actually get some shape there.

Your before/after photos are really good. I've never seen progress photos that were that noticeable after just a few months0 -
Can I just ask - why do you want a bigger bum? I can remember in my late teens-early twenties (after that, i didn't care!) that you'd ask "Does my bum look big in this?" hoping for a big fat "Nooooo!" Now it seems that that's all anybody wants.
That's in no way meant as a critism, you do what's good for you, I'm just interested 👍😊3 -
do guys count... I have been working on my buns and legs... lol6

For me it was more about creating shape not necessarily size. After weight loss mine was flat and saggy looking. Though I admit in my quest for shape I added a bit of size to my thighs and backside, but I think I look better with the added shape and size than I did without.4 -

With Kim Kardashian and Beyonce and J-Lo, etc. it's come back "in style" to have a big butt. Which I think it's ridiculous that a certain body type can be "In style" but that's just me.3 -

I'm positive my opinion doesn't matter in this regard as I can't speak on behalf of all the men on the planet, but I think it's safe to assume for most this new trend is not attractive at all.4 -

Lifting has definitely given my butt a TON of shape. I've always had a bigger butt (pear shape body typebut it was very square with a lot of cellulite and dimples. After 8 months of lifting HEAVY (I can squat 200+) all of the cellulite is gone and I have a round shape. This is after 20 lbs of weight loss and losing 4 inches off my hips.6
