If it works, it's not legal. If it's legal, it doesn't work.

Caffeine is legal, and it works (at least for some people).

eat more satiating foods. Protein for me keeps me full. My trainer drinks shots of apple cider vinegar twice a day, but i'm not a fan.

For me, working out works. Swimming doesn't unless I do breaststroke as fast as I can for as long as I can. Bodyweight exercises work, or running do as well. Basically everything that drains within a reasonably short amount of time. Hiking all day or cycling? Then I have to eat a lot to keep it up, but everything within about an hour is a fantastic appetite suppressant.

Coffee helps me some and also I like to suck on a sugar-free hard candy sometimes.

coffee works for me... I'm not sure if it's actually suppressing my appetite or just kind of filling my stomach a little bit and distracting me, but whatever works.

Food. Which foods lead to the longer-lasting sense of satiety are highly individual. For many, proteins and fats are most effective, which is one reason why low-carb diets seem to work well -- people actually eat less because with that mix of macros they feel fuller for longer with fewer calories. But for you personally it may take some experimentation.
