Found the switch in my head

Hell yeah! I don't know what happened, but at the beginning of this week I suddenly decided to finally turn my life around again. No big drama: I was nearly constantly sick or injured for nearly 2 months, frustrated, and could not stop eating snacks. After years of maintaining I gained some weight back. Not much, mind. Now that I'm getting my eating under control again and have less in my system I see that I only gained about 2.5-3kg. No biggie.
But yes, Sunday evening all of a sudden I got restless, longed for grabbing my running shoes, found that the HR sensor was still somewhat charged after not running for 1.5 years (my feet can't really deal with running) and I managed to kind of run 3km. Which in return made me happy and allowed me to pick up my life again. I always get happy from doing sports, thus it's important for me. Can't do much more at the moment due to a rather bad knee injury, thus still nothing that involves bending the knee too much, kneeling (ouch!), or doing too much endurance but with my current running stamina that won't happen anytime soon.
Thanks all for all previous hugs. It really helped when I was down and showed what a fantastic community this is. I had to found the switch myself of course, but just being less down can be a motivator.
