Any tips for how to make tracking easier when eating out/other than home?

Going to an event today which will of course be serving food. So I won’t know brand info, etc.

Nope. Focus on lean meat and veggies but enjoy yourself. Extra cardio session. Dessert satisfaction in 3 bites.

I just estimate the best I can using similar brand entries from the database. I'll usually add 10% extra on top of those estimates to be safe, but I don't do social eating much, so usually I just eat what I want on those days.

Going out is tough but isn't a problem now and then. I try to look for "single" foods. For example, it's easier to estimate 3 ounces of plain chicken than how much chicken was in a scoop of casserole....visually easier to account for 3 cubes of cheese than estimate how much cheese was in a slice of lasagna. You'll be fine--have fun!
