Anyone else doing the Komen walk (60 miles in 3 days)? I am signed up for the one in Boston (September) and looking at the training schedule, it doesn't look very strenuous. Will it really prepare me for the event?

Looking at the version I saw online at http://www.the3day.org/site/DocServer/3DAY_2014SuggestedTrainingProgram24weeks_fp.pdf?docID=4103 I would say yes. It has back to back long walks which is important since you teach your body to go out again after doing a long hard workout. Anyone can walk 20 miles, doing it 3 days in a row is harder, both physically and mentally. I think the plan is good for that.0
