Looking for a good calorie counting app type app that does not have chatting capabilities or ability to post pictures and whatnot.
Kids want to do logging but we don't want them to have access to the community features of MFP.
Shoot me some options please.
Thanks!

Fit Bit has the option. You do not need to sync to a device to use it.0

Pen and paper. Adds in a math lesson as well.3

MFP and many other apps are not designed for children. Children have different nutritional requirements since they are still growing. I strongly recommend checking with their pediatrician before starting them calorie counting because you will have to manage both their different physical needs as well as the mental aspects associated with weight management.5

Fitbit has an active community. Try http://www.eatracker.ca I think it doesn't have a community, but I don't know if it has a phone app.
ETA: just checked, and it does have a phone app (go to Connect and choose eaTracker under apps).1 -
Why are your kids logging food? They should be getting guidance from their doctors and parents.0
