Loving calories burnt breast feeding

I must say I'm loving how many calories I'm burning just feeding my baby. I'm around 1000 cal per day as I'm also expressing and freezing an extra litre per day.
Formula to calculate is:
cal burnt=(20xoz of milk) ÷ 0.8 - basal (basal 300cal 0-3months, 400cal 4-5 months, 500 6+ months)

Cal burnt=(ml of milk x 0.68)÷0.8 - basal

You need to approximate how much your baby drinks, I did this by working out how much was left after feeding as she only needs to feed off one side. But a Google can give you an idea of how much your baby drinks in a day.
The common consensus of trying to loose weight while breast feeding is no more than 500cal deficit per day and drink loads of water. Knowing more accurately your calories burnt helps alot. I have an oversupply so I'm doing more but monitoring my output closely.
