Well, I've been on MyFitnessPal and Weight Watchers and I keep going off. I don't know why I am having a hard time. I'm 4/7 and about 40lbs over weight. I need motivation and help. Any suggestions would be helpful..

Personally I was on Weight Watchers for about 20 years and never reached my goal. Finally I got onto MFP and got serious. I would suggest buying a food scale and weighing and logging everything you eat. I would also suggest setting a goal of 1 - 1.5 lbs. per week. Often people choose 2 lbs per week in a desire to lose as fast as possible but they learn nothing because they become hungry and give up. If you happen to eat less than your goal gives you it can be a bonus but don't restrict to the point where you can't keep it up. The longer it takes to get to your goal the more time you have to create good habits that will assist you in staying at a healthy weight. Good Luck.1
