I Quit Weight Watchers!

I had good progress with weight watchers, and that's probably the only program that's ever really stuck with me. They had a promo that when you sign up it's like $90 for 3 months. I overall lost almost 20 pounds, I started WW on 1/27/2019.
I don't always track and there were a couple of glitches that I did not like with the App and I didn't really like attending the meetings. However, I know this program did work for me, but I can't justify paying $50 a month for an App and some meetings and it was annoying having to enter my login credentials constantly.
That's when I turned to MFP, but I realize that WW is basically counting macros made easy. I'm new to the whole macros thing, but I'm just going to track everything and see how it goes. So far so good though!
It currently has me on 1200kcal, 150g carbs, 40g fat, 60g protein.
What is your experience with counting macros with MFP?

Weight loss happens when you're at the correct calorie deficit for your weight loss goals, not because of any specific macros ratio. WW works because it's a very low calorie plan, though many people have reported stalled/gained weight on the new WW plan, most likely due to 0 points food list that now has over 200 entries.
Macros don't really play a part in weight loss, except different ratios will make you feel full/hungry, (very individualized), and then some people with certain medical conditions need to follow certain ratios. Nothing wrong with playing around with your macros, to see what combination works best for you, but realize that it's a calorie deficit that produces weight loss
And good for you for ditching WW, they charge a ridiculous amount of money for something you can do completely free on your own!
