Pros of being bald:
1. Takes me less time to get ready.
2. Experience. I would have never known what was going on under all the hair I had. Turns out my head looks pretty normal.
3. I can't use my hair as a security blanket anymore and I'm being made to truely FACE myself.
4. I can much more realistically impersonate Sinéad O'Connor when I lip sync "Nothing Compares to you" 🎤🎵 😜
5. I don't care what people think anymore when they look at me without a wig or a cap on... because this is me and I'm proud of myself so I guess this whole experience has made me a little more confident in myself.
Also... I'll be losing my eyebrows soon, they're starting to get pretty thin. Hopefully I get the hang of it of drawing them on and they don't look like Nike signs 😅✔
I cannot express how much you being open about all your insecurities and embracing the changes makes you the strongest woman I know (and I dont really know you 🤣) But, It takes courage and a lot of growth to wake up and have the grateful attitude you bring here on most days even when you're feeling weak. Ok...i suck at make up.. I really used to be good at it and this is what happens when your kiddo is home for 6 days and you are both going stir crazy then you think
