So I’m in a wedding and been losing weight and I just went in for alterations for the brides maids dress and the bride told me that I can’t lose any more weight until the wedding. I told her no of course. I’m just wondering if is something that other people have heard; or if I am just that unlucky?

I am sure that her concern is that the dress will not fit on the wedding day. It is just her being a bride. She wants everything to be perfect including your dress fitting.5

I would also guess that this comment was about concern for the dress fitting. You're not unlucky, just one of many victims of the wedding industry.5

She did say until the wedding. Depending on how far away the wedding is you'll have to see if you maintain or make further alterations to the dress yourself later on.0
