You go by the number that MFP gave you.....If you don't lose anything in 4 weeks then adjust it3

Like Megan said, use what MFP gave you and see where you're at in 4-6 weeks. I'll add that it will require you to weigh and track your food accurately in order to get solid data. Also, MFP can only work with the information you give it.1
