Focus less on how much u eat and more what u eat. Food is fuel! Too much fuel is still better than using the wrong types of fuel! I was surprised how much eating differently helped me feel. I realize food can be the best medicine or the slowest acting poison

Too much fuel is still too much fuel. I didn't get overweight only from candy and fast food. Healthy still has calories, and those healthy foods still contributed to my weight gain. If you overfill your car's gas tank with the best available gas you're still overfilling your tank.17 -
You got the fuel is food part right. If you are deficient in a nutrient then it is possible that eating a bigger variety that fills that gap will be meaningful to how you feel. However, food is fuel, not poison. It might be poison to a person with a medical condition or allergy but not because someone decided one day it was "unhealthy", "junk", or "crap". Those are arbitrary labels for food that most likely still has nutrients we need.
If a person is thoroughly convinced that a style of eating is healthy it may create a placebo effect but I still eat just about everything and I feel better simply from losing weight which requires me to focus on how much.6 -
Too much fuel is a recipe for weight gain, even if it is healthy, so if I am trying to lose then no that is not better. I think it is important to find a balance between eating to your calorie goal and a way of eating that is sustainable, nutrient dense but also enjoyable.10

Healthy is a term open to interpretation. You can over eat and drink any food.4

Except that excess calories, regardless of what kinds of foods they come from, leads to excess weight which can cause serious health problems.
I eat healthy foods in the correct calorie amounts for my stats. If I started eating the same foods as I was now, but in excess amounts and started gaining weight, I would no longer be healthy even eating the same foods. Energy balance matters a great deal when it comes to health.
