Cholesterol levels...?

What is everyones cholesterol levels on the myfitnesspal app?
Mine is zero, everyday, without fail.

I thought saturated fat was linked to cholesterol levels?
Yesterday I finished with 11g of saturated fat, but zero cholesterol.
Tonight I finished with 2g of saturated fat, but zero cholesterol?

Cholesterol and saturated fat do not necessarily occur in foods together. Both can be found in animal products, while plant products can have saturated fat but do not contain cholesterol. The confusion may be because people who have high cholesterol are typically advised to limit saturated fats.

The data you're seeing is based on your food selections and more specifically, from the data entered for those food selections. You'll find very few food entries in the MFP database with values for cholesterol...

You'll see the same behavior for any missing data values (potassium, etc.)

(TLDR: If the value isn't in your food data, it won't appear on your daily totals)

Saturated fat is linked to your body's cholesterol levels. Not the cholesterol in food, which doesn't really influence your body much at all.
