Hi all, My name is Pat but on here I'm Daffy. I am 82 and having a hard time with my weight. I had my knee replaced and it makes it hard to exercise. I do treadmill and eliptical bike.

You can do this. Just be patient and take baby steps to start. Greatly admire you attempting this at 82. I am 67 and it is a whole other world than when I was in my 30’s.. Hang in there.0

Hi Pat. First. You are doing great! The treadmill and elliptical are excellent. How long has it been since you had your knee replaced? How long have you been on MFP?
I am only 74. I had a knee replacement 18 months ago. Started focusing on weight loss about 6 months later. It took awhile for me to figure out what worked for me in terms of eating. So, give yourself some time to work things out. Expect highs and lows, but just don't give up!0
