Historical Reenactors?

Any historical reenactors out there? SCA? Civil War? Regency? I'd love to hook up with others of similar interests outside of those wanting to lose weight (just helps me connect to you as a person, personally) :)

    good morning,
    i did a search for reenactor and there were only a few threads out there. My wife and I have been CW reenactors for 12 years and had done some 1812 and colonial events as well. We have just started going back to the SCA (started a few years ago for about a year but dropped out after our second child was born).

    I am not a reenactor but I do have garb to wear when I go down to the Bristol renaissance fair. new dress arrived a few days ago. waiting on a totally custom bodice. hoping it shows up before opening weekend

    that sounds like fun, i have yet to go to an Ren Faire. my family is planing to go to one in October.
