What's motivating YOU today?

Hi everyone,
I'm feeling a bit down today, and hopeless because I have so darn far to go (~105 lb left to lose). I'm not giving up, I'm not looking for advice, I want to hear some positivity and learn what keeps you going -- and it doesn't just have to be about weight loss either.
What motivates me? Sounds stupid, but my favorite actor does. I want to take good care of my body the way he does. I also want to be able to dress like him; classier.
So let's talk!

My husband giving me a high five when I come back home from a run all sweaty. That feels good...
Hope you find the motivation again. It can be difficult- that is for sure.
I know you arn't looking for advise but remember that Rome wasn't built in a day. It take time.0 -
My daughter. She wants to exercise together tonight - so a walk and Pilates it will be!0

What motivates me? Hmmmm... so many days I can't find the motivation to get the job done. Today is that day. I go back and look at my before pics and know I never want to be that person again. That makes me want to do the workout.
Other motivator is when my 14 year old son says "mom, you are getting so skinny". I just gotta keep going!0 -
Thank you Good job going for a run!0

i drink some coffee and power through! I also this time picked ways to reward myself when i stay on course for a particular period of time due to starting and stopping so many post baby.0

weight loss is definatly a loooong journey, but think of how proud you will be when you get to your goal, and all the small victories in between! What motivtes me? My family, my MFP friends, the way I feel after a good workout, and watching myself change into a healthier person!!!
Best of luck to you0 -
No advice here, just some feedback on what keeps me motivated:
1- Feeling rejuvenated after my Curves workout (working hard to keep my performance % high).
2- Getting compliments from my boyfriend with his comments about how certain parts of my body is looking smaller and that he's starting to feel some muscles.
3- Having a workout buddy a few times per week.
4- Clothes starting to fit loosely
5- Feeling good about myself and my progress thus far.
Those are my top 5! Good luck!0 -
a couple of things have been motivating me lately.
1. My family - my son works out with me and my grandson is always telling me "come on grandma, let's do jumping jacks"
2. My clothes, they are all getting so loose!! I am almost to a point that I need to go buy some more. I have always fluctuated between size 18-22, so that is what I hvae in my closet. Now my 18's are hanging off of me. I need a belt for most of them. If it wasn't for my hips (child bearing) then my pants would have hit the ground!
I am determined to get down to at least a size 14.0 -
My modivation is pushing myself an extra .25 or .5 miles on my run. I like to see how far I can push myself past my last run. Every time I run more then last time, it modivates me to do it again.0

I'm more motivated when I'm pissed off, honestly. I'm weird. Lol0

I'll post a couple more.
1.My normal jeans are getting looser -- if I run to catch the bus, they'll be by my knees!
2. The skinny black jeans I bought ages ago are now wearable.
Thanks for your responses, let's hear more!0 -
Motivation comes from many areas in my life. Health, looking good, even music.
Today....it is the sore feeling of my muscles, me knowing I had a great work out yesterday, reminding me that I will work out later, to get better, stronger, and faster.
Most of all its how loose my pants feel, LOL0 -
The sore feeling. I used to hate it, but now if I don't feel sore the next day, I feel like I haven't accomplished anything.
Seeing my toes. Isn't that a horrible statement? But I've now lost enough off of my stomach that I can stand up straight and see my toes! I missed those cute little suckers.
Being able to walk up flights of stairs without getting too winded. Keeping up with the skinny girls at work without getting winded.
The loose pants. I've lost 3 pant sizes, but it feels sort of surreal. When I change top size, it'll really be a success.0 -

Being able to walk up the stairs is a big deal. Good job!0
